Decipher the NVR model number

Hello.

I purchased an NVR some years ago and I can't be sure if this NVR is a hacked CH NVR or an international version.

Is there a sure fire way of determining this based on the serial number?

I want to upgrade the NVR to the latest firmware to get the most of a new camera I have bought, which is an upgradable international version. Obviously I don't want to brick the NVR. :)

This is a Hikvision
DS-7608NI-E2 (non-POE)
SN:540384137
I can get the firmware version and system information tonight.

I'm 90% sure this is an international version based on the sticker and the english GUI. But you never know if those stickers are reliable (easy to doctor it)
