dahua spare part cable for replacement

hello, I m looking for spare parts. the cam is wifi dahua IPC-HFW1320S-W (not poe), i have disassembly the camera for cable damage.
I tested continuity on the 12 pinout connector camera to the lan connector this is result


red wire and black is +/- 12 v.

where found this cable? I have tested another cable camera but have different pin connection.
and where found the pin female for recabling the cable? is jst connector or other? and tool crimper?
the white comb plastic connector meausure 15mm and the pin female 1mm wires very small.
I prefer not to make joints, but one whole cable by lengthening.

If I have understood your request correctly - you are looking for a replacement cable for one that is no longer working.

n.b. pin 3 RJ 45 is not connected.

That is one of the data pins - 1,2 and 3,6 are required. If 3 is not connected, the network will not work.


There are lots of suitable RJ45 pigtail replacement cables on Aliexpress.
You will need the 11-pin version to ensure PoE works fully.
The JST connectors do not require any crimping or joining - the existing wires in the plastic connector can be easily removed, and the new wires clicked in.

Hi, this camera is not POE, the configuration connector is different (I have 2 broken cables from other cameras but they don't have the same configuration)
I have already extracted the connectors.
this correct config pinout (I had lost the orange wire):


Camera connector RJ45 lan port

brown ------------------------------> pin 1 white/orange
violet ------------------------------> pin 2 orange
orange ------------------------------> pin 3 white/green
yellow wire ------------------------> pin 4 blue and pin 5 white/blue
blue ------------------------------> pin 6 green
grey ------------------------------> pin 7 white/brown and pin 8 brown


I had already seen aliexpress, but are we sure that the cable on sale has the right configuration? I need a longer cable at least 40cm.
I was also looking for connector kit to be crimped and terminating the wire.
female terminal is 1mm. I took out the mini terminals with a sewing needle .

Yes, I have used a few of those to replace damaged cables.
It's normal that pins 4,5 and 7,8 (one of the data pairs used on 1000BaseTX are joined.
On IP cameras, these will only be used if PoE a requirement.

If not using PoE, only data, then pins 1,2 and 3,6 are the important ones, along with the red and black for the 12v power.

I need a longer cable at least 40cm.

There is a big choice, though it does need some experimenting with the search terms.

I was also looking for connector kit to be crimped and terminating the wire.

That is usually how these cables are supplied - ready to use, no crimping needed.

Hi Guys! i have buy from Aliexpress cable for replacement camera Dahua. But this china clable is not compatible, is active cable with internal circuit, see images. I find pure poe cable without internal circuit. I have open the china cable when I have tested with multimetre strument pinout exit.
I need to look for a flying female lan connector for recabling this........
Do you have any ideas?

It looks like you have ordered an incorrect cable.
But even though you may not need to use the in-built PoE convertor, the cable will work OK as a normal data cable.

maybe it is easier and faster to look for another cable? thank's for suggest post Brick-fix but is very risky...
I have removed pcb but the cable is 9 wire.....and has 2 red wire (linked together) , and 2 black wire (linked together) for to the connector power supply.
I have only 5 wire for use....! necessary 6 wire for lan/poe and 2 wire power supply...like the original cable dahua in my hand!

I'm not suggesting brickfix for this camera, that's just my forum signature.

You only need 4 wires plus power. It will work ok.
The cable you bought would have worked ok without having the PoE convertor stripped.
