greetings,

recently purchased a dahua NVR4108-P-4KS2 and i am having an issue with live monitoring on the TV. connected to the NVR are two IPC-HDW4831EM-ASE and one 42212TNI. i can't view both IPC-HDW4831EM-ASE at the same time when they are set to 4K. they start alternating between one and the other on the TV screen when the screen is setup to view 4 cameras. if i lower the resolution of one of the IPC-HDW4831EM-ASE everything works ok. i updated the firmware on both the IPC-HDW4831EM-ASE and the NVR4108-P-4KS2 but the problem persists. i made sure there are no ip address conflicts.

any idea what is going on?

Read the specs for the NVR. What is you fps. The NVR may only support 2 cameras at 4k. Eight at 1080.

Agree, this is a 'Lite" NVR and that is probably your restriction..

i guess the 4ks2 in the model number means 4k stream two.

i wonder if that is a limitation just on the live view/playback or if it also applies to recording?

I have a 4126-16p-4ks2 and it has the same 2-4kch/8-1080pch limitation but has a max incoming bandwidth of 200 Mbps vs your 80 Mbps. Not currently doing 4k so no history but I do have 2 coming from Andy. I'll post if same issue.
