Dahua NVR: Unable to reset password

Hello,

Somebody can help me to reset a password of a Dahua NVR model DHI-NVR4208-8P-4K ?
I tried the reset button as suggested, doesn't work. I also tried to connect with the serial UART interface, but doesn't work as well.

It's so complicated, I did it many times with Hikvision, it always succeeded but i'm really stuck with the Dahua

The problem is I can't make the serial UART work. Do you have the link of a model which work on this device.

thank's a lot for yout help !!!

i have an issue with an nvr 5216. I don't have admin password and all procedures dosen't work.
i 'm testing rs232 connection but with my pc serial port but I don't have connection with nvr.

so i'm testing connection with ftdi232 adaptator.
i have connection but this is my putty screen ...

i have connect GND to pin number 5 of rs232 connector
rx of ftdi adapter to pin 3 of rs232 connector
tx of ftdi adapter to pin 2 of rs232 connector

did you have any idea of where is the problem ?

Change baud rate to 115200 on com port and in Putty, if not try with Tera Term. I see this from time to time

Thank’s for your response !

I try with all possible bauds rate, with putty, Tera term, realterm, ncom and on my MacBook.
With ftdi232 and usb2ttl but i always have the same problem
