Hello,
Before I start wiring it up, just want to be sure I understand it correctly.
I have DS-KB8113-IME1(B) powered by POE (with Poe++ switch).
I have symmetrical electric strike (works with AC 12V 530mA or DC 12V 660mA, there is no set (+) and (-) on it, you can wire how you want). To my understanding it's not possible to power it directly from the doorbell, even if I get strike requring only 12V 220ma AC / DC, correct?
In such case I plan to split the POE. One line going as POE to doorbell, second through adapter to 12V (+)/(-) wires will go to electric strike.
My second and main question is do I put 12V from the adapter: only (+) to the COM, only (-) to the electric strike?
Then from electirc strike to NO, right?
Tell me please if I missinterpreted something.
Thanks!
