i changed my network setup and router is now 192.168.1.0
the Hik dont want to save network setting if gateway ip is 192.168.1.0 ... they save with 192.168.1.1 , and seems to work with having static ip.
i tried web gui and SADP both gave error
computers etc work fine but
.. but is there another way to set this setting ?

That's a 'network address' as opposed to an IP address, assuming the subnet mask is 255.255.255.0
What is the IP address of the router itself?

That is an invalid address for a gateway IP address if the subnet mask is 255.255.255.0.
It should be the IP address of the router.

Think of 0 as being 'reserved' and you are not able to use it
