I have a generic IP camera, the instructions say to use PanoEagle AjDevTools, so I'm assuming it's some kind of clone.
Strange thing about this camera is that it comes with a static IP from factory of 192.168.1.110, my network is 192.168.0.X, but I was able to log in to the web interface by connecting the camera directly to my computer and manually changing my IPv4 settings to 1.2 with the gateway being 1.110. That gave me access to the WUI and I was able to change the IP to 192.168.0.100 and mess with a few things.
Months passed by and I finally wired my house with Ethernet cable. Plugged in the camera and tried the WUI, nothing. wouldn't connect. won't even show up on my routers client list.
Camera has no reset button, according to the manual, only AjDevTools can send the reset command, but it won't connect to it.
Things I have done/tried
Connected camera directly to PC with manual IP address, tried both 1.X and 0.X
Once back on the network, I used Advanced Port Scanner and the IP is available. MAC address shows up. only port 554 is open
Set reservation for the MAC address on my router to 0.100
No luck with AjDevTools reset feature
Blue Iris (and VLC) will stream the RTSP stream on port 554
I'm all out of ideas.
