I bought a IP camera at a discount suite (it was cheap, so no regrets) just to play with and at first I could connect through IE but I let it set around a few months and when I went back to play with it some more I now cannot connect and get a view. I cannot remember where I bought it, or find any documentation; there was not much to begin with. There are 2 ports open on it, 23 and 81. I can telnet to it but not find httpd or a config file that turns on http (port 80). It is using busybox v 1.12.1 operating system and says (with mac address) it is equip'trans (I assume brand). Anyone seen anything like this, and how can I get http back?

Port 81 that you found open is likely the HTTP port.
In your browser, use http://Camera IP address>:81 and see what happens.
Or fire up the very good Windows open-source tool 'ONVIF Device Manager' from sourceforge.net and see lots of info about the camera, as it's likely to be ONVIF compatible as most IP cameras are these days.
