Camera next to PIR Floodlight

Good Evening

I have a Dahua 4231 IP Camera installed in close proximity to a PIR floodlight

However, at night, the floodlight does not work - due to the IR heat given off by the camera at night.

If I cover the IR from the camera, the floodlight works.

What can be done about this so the floodlight works alongside the camera at night?

One way would be to keep the IR on the camera turned off and use an external IR illuminator offset from the light by a few feet

Change the light sensitivity setting (the daylight sensor setting) on the floodlight.

Wont that mean if I put it on daytime - it will turn on during the day too?

Hopefully there will be a position in between full daylight and full night where the IR light doesn't set it into day mode.

You should be able to configure a schedule as to when you want the camera to enter color mode and Black & White mode & Auto

Wont that mean if I put it on daytime - it will turn on during the day too?
