hi guys,

After a lot of reading, my first post here :)

I ordered 6 cams and received 2 dead.
When i connect the cams to my network i can ping them for a couple of seconds and then they seem to reboot. Looks like a reboot loop to me.

Is there a way to recover them?

Ive been reading about tftp and soldering wires on the serial port but those threats seems to be for different cams.

Anyone nowd how to recover his model?

Regards,

hence why we all try to avoid other aliexpress sellers. I would highly recommend to stick with Andy only.

Bought over 50 cams these are the first 2 having a problem. Waited to long opening the the dispute..

Anyone has a idea how to recover them? Otherwise i throw them in the dumpster :)

There's are threads on TFTP recovery with serial and without. Those methods apply to most any dahua camera, but you may have some extra challenges with a hacked camera. Your best shot would probably be to install Chinese firmware (if you can find it).
