Blue Iris or NVR?

Hello all.....hopefully I can get some feedback here. I have 16 SNH‑P6410BN which I will be purchasing. (Let me know if there is a better camera out there that lets you listen and talk through the camera over wifi or Ethernet.) I need to be able to see all the cameras but most importantly be able to do what I need? Let me know..thanks.

What guided your choice?
From what I've seen elsewhere, these are a bit proprietary.
