BI on Linux?

BI does not run natively on linux...while some have tried using it with vine, whats the point...Windows machines can be purchased for less than the cost to build a linux pc..running a vms on a non native OS in never recommended even with good virtualization software.

I would like a linux version but I doubt the demand is there to keep supporting it once made.

I think Blue Iris uses a lot of proprietary Windows technology for video processing, so it would be a big challenge to make it cross-platform.

Agree. I have not directly spoken with Ken regarding this, but I would almost guarantee that we will never see another version for a different operating system. Just my 2 cents.
