pretty much. You can choose another port number if you want. As long as it doesn't collide with other services.

Is there a way i can check what ports are in use? I've tried 8001, didn't work - the camera rebooting all the time.
Seems like 8001 is used?

Bump.
Guys help. Camera#1 keep rebooting all the time(showing & disappearing in SADP tool). Can't connect locally nor remotely, can't change ports back to 80/8000 either - says modification failed ID:001
Camera#2 works both locally and remotely.
