Accidentally deleted admin account

I have a DS-2CD2332-I camera that I accidentally deleted the admin account. I am still able to log into it via an operator account but cannot do admin configuration such as adding the admin account back. Is there any way to add the admin account back without resetting the camera?

I'm trying to think of a sneaky way to do this - but can't, unfortunately, apart from the 'Hikvision back door' vulnerability that I don't have the details of. Assuming you don't have an exported configuration file you could import, and also assuming Operator allows that.
I'd be surprised if the ONVIF route to user admin doesn't have the same restrictions on the Operator account, but may be worth trying via ONVIF Device Manager (sourceforge.net)

Thanks alastairstevenson. I tried the ONVIF manager but was not able to do anything with it. DO you think the password reset tool on the sticky of this thread will work?

Presumably you gave ODM the operator login, top left of the window?

I have no idea - but certainly worth a try, however it's only usable for firmware older than 5.3.0
I suppose you are into a reset to defaults attempt now.
