After updating 2385fwd from 5.4.5 to 5.5.0 I can't use configuration settings in IE, nothing is clickable. It was working before. Works in Firefox/chrome but live view doesn't work in them. And of course Hikvision doesn't allow firmware downgrade, good job hikvision.

Thanks that fixed it. I done a browser reset before but that musn't have cleared the cache properly.
Another issue, noticed this before update too and was actually the reason I did the update.. when I capture a screenshot from the browser then click to view it gives an error 'refers to location that is unavailable' If I go to the folder manually there is no screenshot there. Any idea?

Quite possibly because IE11 isn't trusted enough to store files in the path you have configured.
Try the same when running IE11 'As Administrator' and see if it works.
If so - you might just get away with adding the camera IP address to IE11's 'Trusted Sites'.
