I have 2x hikvision and a new addition a hiwatch IPC-B220 I did have them working on 3 partitions using SMB/CIFS but decided to go the NFS route, 1 dedicated drive, 3 share folders.

The 2 Hikvision's are setup and working but no matter what I do I can't format the disk for the 3rd drive, I'm using the same settings but as soon as I click format it returns device error. I've tried various shares including ones working on the other camera, the other cameras will happily format that one. When I test the SMB details it is happy with them.
I'm puzzled...

This is connecting to a windows server 2016 machine on a local network.

Thanks.

decided to go the NFS route
What version of NFS is the Windows box offering?

hiwatch IPC-B220
What version of firmware is on the camera?
Perhaps there is a problem with its NFS support.
Does the web GUI have a 'Firmware version property' under the System settings | Basic information tab?
The should be able to identify which series the camera is.
HiWatch firmware is here :

I tried all 4 IPC firmwares on that page and several others, I can't find one for that model for some reason.

It's a WR serial so shouldn't be some dodgy hacked import IPC-B22020170927AAWR1011195**
Current firmwares V5.4.6 build 170629
