2CD-3145 Onvif Problem

I am trying to get a Chinese 3145 working on my Hikvision DS-7604 (v3.4.0 151103)

At another location I also have a Hikvision DS-7716 (v3.3.8 151222) and I can setup the camera as ONVIF and it works fine.

On my 7604 at home if I set it up the same way at home I still get a language mismatch error.

I have tried changing the port numbers but to no avail.

Any ideas?

Watch out for the 'Region setting via ONVIF specific to Hikvision' new feature.
Could have a bad effect on your Chinese region cameras currently connected as ONVIF to avoid 'language mismatch'.
Anyone tried that yet?
 
You are quite right - they have covered camera language checks both by Hikvision and ONVIF protocols starting several NVR firmware revisions back.
The only recourse now is to use a generic RTSP connection and forgo motion/smart event recording.
