I got another latest new fw for this model, the official one release delayed to July. If this version test good, we will use it for updating and build in fw.

No, still not ready, will be ready at Middle June i think,we will get some samples to test at end of the May.

it can install directly to the ceiling without any mount. Drill a hole on the ceiling, fisheye mostly use for indoor business places. So won't be a big issue.

Interested in an update for the super PTZ as well. Turns out there was string of car break ins today and I am the only one with video. Unfortunately only got partial plates on one vehicle (stolen) and not the other. The hope is that the IR distance is as good as advertised as lighting is non-existent in my scenario.

On a secondary note, wondering how tariffs will affect the pricing...

today we have good news for the tariffs, time to make a memorial Day sales or Tariffs Sales. After this sales price will be increased. So total will have 30% on the tariffs.

Have to wait and see if they fix the sensor noise on the 4M-T (HDW3449H-AS-PV-PRO)

Current version, the 5442 still produces a better image, but the new 3449 Pro does pick up light better, much like the 1/1.2" sensor in the 4K-T

There will have a 1/1.8cmos 5 series dual illumination, 54IR series use better chips than those 3 series. So that is why the 54IR still have the best pic. the 4M-T have dual lens , 2 way audio, build in siren this can be a plus for some position need the functions. For the sensor noise, i will check with dahua if they have some way to make it less, sometimes this limited by the hardwar's capacity.
