    Dahua N52B3P4 SATA Cable?

All, I have a Dahua N52B3P4 that I'm putting two 10TB drives into. Opened up the DVR and found only one Sata cable to connect one of the drives. Does anyone know where I can buy an additional cable?

Decided on N45DL7Z, dealer says they use all turrets?

Thanks for the response. So do you use LED camera all around your home? Do they shine at night pretty bright where they would easily be visible from the street, etc.? I also found the N53AJ5Z, which seems to be a pretty good camera from the specs.

Decided on N45DL7Z, dealer says they use all turrets?

So if I use LED light, this is the type that you can visibly see from the cameras and they look like little spotlights shining at night?

Decided on N45DL7Z, dealer says they use all turrets?

I thinking now there is no difference between an IR or a LED camera. I thought there was. I'm still confused though as I have been told that the LEDS shine very bright and house could look like a landing strip where I have also been told you can't see the IR light really at all. This is what led...

Decided on N45DL7Z, dealer says they use all turrets?

Yes, you sent this to me yesterday. I'm trying to do my research and that is why I'm asking questions. OF the first two cameras on your "cameras to look at", I'm confused as to what the difference os between IR and LED. Can you explain this? Are the IR cameras not really visible at night whereas...

Decided on N45DL7Z, dealer says they use all turrets?

I did just run across these 5MP, the Dahua N53AJ5Z cameras. Are these IR? And also will I lose anything by going from a 4MP to a 5MP camera?

Decided on N45DL7Z, dealer says they use all turrets?

Guys, I had narrowed my search down to buying the N45DL7Z cameras and the N52B3P NVR. I called my local dealer and they said they mostly use all turret style now. I looked but can't find anything equivalent to the N45DL7Z in turret style. Something that is Vari-focal, 4MP, Starlight+, ePOE...

HELP NEEDED -- Dahua camera selection

Dang. That means the LEDS would be on 24/7 then. Hmmmm. I’m guessing if I get the non-led Starlight version the night vision is still pretty good?

HELP NEEDED -- Dahua camera selection

Also, it was recommended to me to get a non POE NVR. Then just connect all cameras directly to the POE network switch along with connected the non POE NVR directly to the network switch. What do you think?

HELP NEEDED -- Dahua camera selection

Thank you for this response. I would need to make a decision much sooner than this. Wiring begins in about two weeks for the cameras. When you mentioned having to sit through hours of footage to find your culprit, are you saying that using the Dahua NVR is time consuming and doesn't have good...

HELP NEEDED -- Dahua camera selection

Hmmm.....thanks for your reply. Do you have a link from the EMPIRECANDY for that NVR you suggested? On the cameras, most of the areas will be very low light where we want the cameras installed. There are street lights but the home is set back about 60ft from the curb. So does that mean if I buy...

HELP NEEDED -- Dahua camera selection

Thanks. Kinda hard to study when I don't really know the terms and have no experience. My dealer sells Dahua, maybe I get them to do the placement for me. Was just looking for some help on here because I always like to get my own equipment. What did you mean by the $150?

HELP NEEDED -- Dahua camera selection

Ok, so what if I get no LED, will I still have decent low light video? Do you recommend only turret style like someone else on this post did? Do you recommend the 5442? On the NVR, would the NVR5816-4KS2E be sufficient?

HELP NEEDED -- Dahua camera selection

So would you recommend the Dahua 5442 with LED or without LED? Also, for an NVR that does POE, would you recommend the Dahua N54B3P Series? For eight cameras, how many TB would you recommend?

Thank you very much for your reply. It was very helpful. But, please forgive me, I don't know a whole lot about this stuff. I read a few of the camera reviews but not really sure which is better, etc. I previously thought the higher the megapixel the better but that doesn't seem to be the case...
