Powering Hikvison PoE IP Camera with a 48V Ubiquiti injector

I was looking at powering both a Ubiquiti Nanostation 5AC with pass-through network and PoE to the camera. But the Ubiquiti 802.3af injector only puts out 15.4 watts which might not be able to power the Nanostation (9 watts) plus the Hikvision Camera (7 watts) which gives a total of 16 watts...

Powering Hikvison PoE IP Camera with a 48V Ubiquiti injector

Would I be able to power a Hikvision PoE IP Camera that is stated as 802.3af (DS-2CD2055FWD-I ) with a Ubiquiti Passive 48V injector (POE-48-24W-G)? I understand the difference between active and passive PoE, etc. But someone outside this forum said it was possible. I just wanted to get...

Powering Hikvision Cam with Ubiquiti 802.3af adapter

Can I power a Hikvision (DS-2CD2055FWD-I) power input specified as: PoE (802.3af, class 3), 7 W with a Ubiquiti 802.3af (SKU: U-POE-AF) injector? Both standards seem right but want to ensure compatibility as I find the injector price a bit on the cheap side and need to buy several.

Hikvision iVMS4200 Windows Client - Operator deny access to Maintenance and Management

I installed iVMS4200 client on my PC. I added to my remote NVR as a device using Hikconnect Cloud P2P. Everything works well. I created an Operator user locally in the iVMS application (not on the NVR) and I set the operator to have only "Live View" (function permission) to the cameras (as...

Need an Android Replacement for iVMS that can use Main Stream

I am using an Android TV Box as a NVR remote monitor on a LAN that is using a big screen TV. It is connected to a HIKVISION 7716 NVR on the LAN via IP and can view all cameras, etc. However, the image quality is way below the image quality using the iVMS on a Windows PC. I discovered that the...

I just reread your reply and saw you said 8CH. The 7616 is a 16 Channel.

    16 CH NVR

The first two digits stands for the model series and the last two the number of cameras. For example: 7616 is a 7600 series that supports 16 cameras, and 7716 is a 7700 series that supports 16 cameras as well. The "/" at the end of some models says how much PoE cameras (power, etc) they can...

    16 CH NVR

I recently setup something similar for a client using the DS-7716, but the DS-7616 could work as well for your scenario. My two cents.
