Yes I have one install with this configuration and it works fine. The only issue is with newer firmware, SMD: vehicle does not appear as an option for dahua cameras so you will have to use IVs for motion detection.

I was using an adaptive scene when the issue happened. Also when it happened there was nothing I could do to correct it. I tried setting manual exposure speeds, changing the current profile running, etc, but nothing would get it to look proper until I rebooted.

I have this exact same issue running the latest firmware. The White LED's are staying on 24/7 as well. A reboot clears it up, but it didn't fix it for to long last time I rebooted it.

Can we get some more info on the correct procedure to complete a "Splicing Calibration" from the camera interface? Is it expecting a certain image in its FOV to perform the calibration? Thanks,

My guess is it has to do with how iOS handles incoming notifications and apps running in the background. I think iOS power management is preventing dmss from running in the background to receive notifications into the app at all times. That is why it is only received into the notification...

Yes, there are issues with IVs rules. It is always a good idea to read through the thread to get an idea of any issues with a firmware. There are newer versions that are supposed to fix the IVs issues, but I haven't had a chance to test them yet.

Do you have the capability to take some videos with zero ambient light? From past videos I know your place looks fairly dark but unsure if you have any street lights/neighbours providing ambient light. Ideally I'd like to see the cam in pitch dark.

Alot of yards I deal with have virtually no lighting. I know it's not ideal for cameras, but I deal with rural yards and farms where people don't want yard lights on at night. I'll take some light level readings at some of the yards that do have yard lighting to do a comparison with.

I haven't tested this latest firmware, but all other versions had issues with IVS rules triggering on Human/Vehicle. For me it didn't seem to be a lag, as much as it was that you had to be much, much closer for it to trigger compared to the older firmware.

I wouldn't bother with the M Series at this point, they are an older line and only capable of 100Mbps. Look at a Nanostation 5AC Loco. They are newer, capable of 450Mbps, and are the line that are actively being developed for. In some cases to they are cheaper than the M series.
