    V5.2.5 build 141201 should I upgrade

thank you for the guide and I gave this a try but got stuck so I'm holding fast before proceeding. I think the road blocks I have may been down to tools as you suggest to use HxD and I am using iHex (Mac equivalent) tool for this. I don't think that should matter but it may be the reason why. I...

fender man your right, its working much better now!! i removed all the port forwarding rules i had. i just changed the media port on the camera log in gui from 8000 to a unique port for each camera. Then i let UPnP do the rest of the config by itself. now it all works over wifi and 3g/4g...

    Cant view stream

here is my port forward list. I modified cam 7 to your suggestion. Changed internal ports to default and changed external. Then i tried to do the same to Cam1 but it will not let me set the internal ports to 80, 554 or 8000 in the router port forward list as they are always in use now.

motion detecting sweet spot setting config

really struggling to find a setting that will do away with false alerts from shadows. using expert setting as normal does not allow enough flexibility to prevent the false alerts. tried keeping them on the default internal port and then specifying an external port the was unique in the port forward table. latest development almost all cameras are working. Logged into cameras via IP. Checked the nat section for the port map table, any cameras that has automatically assigned a different IP to the section seems to work: eg: If the port is set to 8000 but the NAT menu port map state 8079 then its...

hikvision mobile apps - ivms-4500 / ezviz only work on wifi, not mobile network

ok so i think this is definetly a routing issue as some of you have suggested. I can only get 2 cameras at a time to work on cellular and I think it may be related to UPnP config. If i turn UPnP off and back some not all of my cameras appear in the port map list of devices registering in UPnP...

The two cameras that are working have no additional config in place just like the other 5. No additional port config. Makes no sense to port forward when two work but others don't. Happy to give it a try though as I want this to work :)
