What is the maximum camera viewers on Hikvision NVR DS-96064NI-I16?

We have a Hikvision System with NVR DS-96064NI-I16 with 57 channels (cameras) of assorted models. Are there any specifications as to how many users can be viewing cameras at one time and how many cameras each person can be viewing at the same time? Some people keep an eye on one camera, while...

need suggestion(s) to replace a dead dome camera outside.

This is a bit late but for anyone making some changes this is what I found to replace our failed DS-2CD2712F-I dome camera. I replaced it with a Hikvision DS-2CD2623G1-IZS 2MP Outdoor IR Bullet Camera, which has given us a much better picture and FOV.

need suggestion(s) to replace a dead dome camera outside.

@looney2ns, thanks for that link. I should have mentioned I need to record to a Hikvision DS-96064NI-I16 NVR. Will a Dahua camera work with Hikvision video recorders?

need suggestion(s) to replace a dead dome camera outside.

Our DS-2CD2712F-I dome camera died completely and I need to replace it. It needs to endure snow, rain and a constant southern exposure in Michigan and I know you don't recommend domes outside especially in that kind of environment. I included a couple of picture of what the old camera was...

view all cameras on PanoVu DS-2CD6D54FWD-IZHS

I figured it out! Not thinking, I forgot that logging directing into my NVR might give me more options or features than using a browser or the iVMS client software. Logging directly into the NVR gave me the option of "Custom Adding" a camera. When I entered the IP address of the PanoVue camera...

view all cameras on PanoVu DS-2CD6D54FWD-IZHS

We had this camera installed to cover a blind area between two buildings. Using the iVMS-4200 client I can only get 1 camera view, there are 4 cameras built into this unit. The camera is connected to a Hikvision POE switch which is connected to a Hikvision NVR on lan4, (vlan4). My iVMS-4200...

Unable to view live camera feed from Hikvision IVMS 4200 & Cloud Storage Suggestion

Have you given yourself access to Liveview on the NVR and the Client? If you added a camera and forgot to 'tick' access to live view could be the problem.

    Hikvision dome camera lens cleaning?

I haven't noticed the rainbow effect but it has a fairly large area with a uneven edge around it, like something has peeled off. You can feel a small edge if you run your finger nail across it also. I don't know if you be able to see it in the picture.

    Hikvision dome camera lens cleaning?

I have contacted Hikvision about the domes, they said they could help me out there. Waiting to see what that means! I did get some mild polish and I'm going to try buffing out 1 dome with my dremel like we do headlight lens, I'll let you know how that goes. The one dome I've been trying to...

how to see all views-multi cam camera with iVMS-4200

We had a Hikvision DS-2CD6D54FWD-IZHS installed but we're only getting one camera view in our iVMS-4200 software. If I connect direct to our Hikvision switch / NVR I can use a browser and connect direct via IP address and see all 4 camera views but how can I get all 4 or at least 2 of those...

    Hikvision dome camera lens cleaning?

Sebastiantombs, thanks, I do have a dial indicator (Harbor Freight special) for measuring. I understand the blowing wind, rain and snow. These domes, just simple rain or drizzle can make them impossible to view. Alastairstevenson, thanks for the link. I checked them out, they have quite the...

    Hikvision dome camera lens cleaning?

Thank you lewic and sebastiantombs for you comments and advise. We had another Co. install our security/camera system about 5 years ago, since I had never dealt with cameras before I had no idea what 'should' have been used outdoors. All of my outside cameras are dome cameras, argh! We are...

    Hikvision dome camera lens cleaning?

@lewic , Thank you for that information. I have a couple (so far) that seem to have a dull finish to them, kinda like some headlight lens get. Not sure if it's the same but curious if anyone else has experienced that. Also, has anyone tried replacing the 'dome' lens and does Hikvision have...

    Hikvision dome camera lens cleaning?

We have about 20 dome cameras outside and a few of the lens seem to be getting foggy / dirty. What is the recommended cleaner for cleaning these dome lens? What type of chemical ingredients should I stay away from? I don't want to do more harm than good!

Hikvision NVR and camera IP address questions

Currently, LAN 1 doesn't talk to LAN 2, they are segregated through the NVR. LAN 1 is the camera network, using their own Hikvision switches. LAN 2 is the trusted LAN network, using separate Cisco switches.0 We "do" want everyone (most everyone) to have access to the cameras; those that need...

Hikvision NVR and camera IP address questions

We (our company) had our Hikvision camera system installed and the installers used our network IP addresses for the cameras. They set them up using static IP's from our trusted network IP range. Our NVR - m/n DS-9632NI-ST has two LAN ports, LAN 1 being used by the cameras, I assume, and LAN 2...

need help with a DS-2CD2732F-I, is it failing?

So far, so good; I got up to the camera and cleared away cob webs. I think the sun was reflecting off the web in front of the camera lens.

Yes, I have restarted the camera several times, leaving it powered off longer each time.

need help with a DS-2CD2732F-I, is it failing?

I did go down with a "long" handled broom and wipe some spider webs away from the camera. I'll check next week to see how it looks, night pictures are somewhat blurred out also.

need help with a DS-2CD2732F-I, is it failing?

I'll give that a try, the only things I haven't tried is the physical access to the camera and a different cable. It's location makes it a bit more troublesome! I think they're over 3yrs old ;/

need help with a DS-2CD2732F-I, is it failing?

I just noticed one of our HIK camera showing a "red" color through out the picture/video. Although later in the day it stopped (I don't know for how long). It's back doing it again this morning, I don't know for sure how long this has been happening. It does face the south so it gets a lot of...

    Hikvision IP Camera offline sporatically

This is a little late but if your going to run longer cable runs it might be worth it to purchase an inexpensive cable tester. Just because the cables are new or pre-made doesn't make them faultless.

Just had 2 Hik DS-2CD2032 cameras go no-signal

I have cameras going "offline" for no apparent reason quite often. My first step is to reset the camera by unplugging the eth cable at my poe switch, power down the camera for 30+ seconds then plug it back in and see if that will give it a jump start. Usually that's all it takes. I have a...

two Hikvision cameras not being seen or recorded by Hikvision NVR

I had given some thought as to whether that was the issue, but didn't think after 4 months it would be the cause. BUT; I re-loaded the firmware with the same firmware and it started working immediately! Argh! Now for the second camera, that was a little different, kind of; I re-loaded the...

two Hikvision cameras not being seen or recorded by Hikvision NVR

It's been a couple of months(correction-May 2017) but yes, I upgraded the firmware on these two and one other camera. These two took the upgrade without any problems, seemed pretty seamless. The third camera upgraded but my picture was blurry. I got the other camera re-adjusted to compensate for...

two Hikvision cameras not being seen or recorded by Hikvision NVR

I'm not sure I know what you mean by "add" the default camera password to the nvr. Yes, I have and I can see all my cameras. Yes, I've been using a web browser to access my camera. That's what's got me confused about which way to go in diagnosing the problem. The camera seems to work, the nvr...

two Hikvision cameras not being seen or recorded by Hikvision NVR

Here's a step by step of what I just did (w/pics) 1. I deleted cam3 from the NVR 2. I reset cam3 to the defaults, unplugged the cam3 and rebooted the NVR 3. on reboot, I plugged cam3 back in; NVR see's cam3 with its new (default) IP address "AND" see's it's m/n and s/n [pic1 pic2] 4. two Hikvision cameras not being seen or recorded by Hikvision NVR

I have since removed the camera, did a reset using the button 'on' the camera. Thought that might do more of a 'hard' reset but it didn't help. I have a question about the lights "on" the camera. What is the "blue" light that comes on when first powered up and then turns "red"? I understand...
