I just don't want to get off subject. some had moisture, the others just failed over time. so moisture was not the only issue. in either case, I need to find some new cameras. so researching once again for low light and good resolution.

RE: perhaps the direct sun at those angles has degraded the sensor over time. how would I know if this is the case? the camera is zoomed out, I tried zooming it in some, and it got lighter, just that then it is not videoing the driveway. not sure how to set up profiles? Thanks

maybe, however in this photo the camera is also pointing at the same Banana plants and the camera video was Ok with them there before? RE: Do you also have IR mode set to come on based on light conditions? No not sure how to go about that? Thanks

Unfortunitly it still gets dark untill the IR kicks in. It usedto look with the other videos.

does anyone know why both of these cameras go totally dark for about 10 minutes before the IR comes on like in the right photo? I resent it back to factory defaults but still dark. Thanks

I disagree. it is what it is, you can think what you may, but the fact is that Andy wanted me to clean it up and make it look like new and send it to a buyer, he did not say it was used, he did not say it was refurbished he did not say the buyer wanted a used or refurbished camera, he blamed it...

the lens has been cleaned with 91% Isopropyl Alcohol, Q-Tip and a microfiber towel.

I would not purchase another Dahua camera. I had nothing but trouble with them. the leak over time, and I had a few die. as needed I have been switching to a different brand which has better IR night vision and is the clearest video I have seen yet of any camera. both day and night. however...

Is there a separate seal for the IR? or is it the same as the large camera seal? Thanks

Ok so I moved the cameras direction and it is still there. I will take it apart and see what the seal looks like?

I turned off the IR, there is a full moon out tomight thats why it looks light out. The light that you see in back of the boat is acturally two other Camera with the IR on. the big pole to the right in front of the boat is a PZT Camera

I put black tape around the camer and it did not help, I will try to tilt like you said. how do you stop IR bounce bleed?
