wondering if you ever figured this out. I have an Omada setup. Getting lots of no signals on an Dahua 5231 cam. I noticed the sd card seems screwed. I can’t reformat it in the cam and can log shows tonnes of “hot swap” messages. Do you have anything like that happening ?

Hi...trying to follow this great thread....quick question...I have a couple cams which are quite high up and far from the area I have my IVS rules defined....in a 5231 cam, nothing seems to be triggering...I've turned off Motion detection in the cam AND BI....trying to rely only on only IVS and...

I think some issues are my older i7-2600 pc...can't really seem to handle this cam well...audio seems ok now...of course mediocre lowlight performance

anyone experience audio problems with the 5842 from Blueiris?? I constantly seem to get glitchy audio.....when playing back in UI3 I see the audio icon turning yellow which I'm sure means it's not getting a signal....any special settings I need to change in BI to fix this?? I tried playing back...

Anyone been able to revive a 5231?? I’ve had a couple kind of die. But upon opening them I can see the power light on and know they’re powering up. My suspicion is a bad firmware flash. Would be a waste to throw them away. Hopefully can bring them back to life !

Just replaced ASUS router setup with TP-Link Omada setup...got the router, controller, POE switches etc....NOW, having a heck of a time reaching the camera login page for any of the Dahua cams connected to the POE Omada switch....is there some firewall settings or something I need to change in...

hey guys....want to upgrade a couple 5231 cams and dead older 49225 ptz.... 1) which 4k/8mp varifocal turret is the best bang for buck these days with audio? 2) between the 49225 and 49425 ptz's, how long will the autotracking firmwares be supported/updated? can audio be added to these easily?

Thanks for the info….yes, well aware of the pitfalls….bought from Andy directly issues: fails to recognize sd card….changed card….still not recognizing….auto tracking no longer working…next step will be factory reset….after that, next option will be firmware

I am trying to unbrick a 49225 PTZ Dahua cam....I'm having a heck of a time locating where to connect my TFTP cable to it so I can re-flash the firmware....did yours have a specific port? could you post a photo or send me one?? Or has anyone else here already gone through unbricking a 49225...

hi! I have a 49225 PTZ that has gotten bricked/messed up....I'm trying to locate the serial connection point on the cam....has anyone connected to it? any photos or advice would be much appreciated!...I've got it open where you can see the SD card slot etc, but am not seeing any sort of spot...

still trying to figure out some trick/way to re-flash this to an older firmware....my hunch is something went wrong with the firmware....it powers up and shows network connection on the POE switch, but cannot login or anything.....did the reset with the switch inside...still nothing.... is there...

My Poe switch definitely has enough power. I can see on the switch there’s a network signal as well. It’s just inaccessible on the network on any subnet. I tried the reset method holding for 60s. Are there any other tricks/ways to connect to the cam? Any way to roll back firmware?
