Have you tried moving the database back to the original directory on the c drive? i left mine there but save the video elsewhere.

ive had this problem a couple times when running bi as a service and both times fixed it by manually entering the account credentials to the windows service.

You can run 3 to 4 hd cams off a core2 duo pc. They are way under $100 on ebay. Im sure being able to use the hardware acceleration would be nice but i have a few installs out there performing just fine with cheap computers.

the pc will work, it might even be slightly overkill. as far as the cameras i think you are going to run into problems with 12 wifi cameras, even on a dedicated network. I recommend wired poe cams.

double checked and everything is 10fps 10iframe and ntsc. anyone know what default is for hardware decoding?

Im pretty sure all my cams are on 10fps and 10 iframe but ill double check. Thanks for the tip.

ever since the latest update when i make a change to camera properties the color bars stay up much longer than they used to, and sometimes the camera comes back looking like the picture above. it usually corrects itself on its own. anyone else having this problem?

havent used smarttiles buts its super easy to get a mjpeg stream: http://192.168.1.114/mjpg/cam1/ you will have to turn authentication off for at least lan connections.

I left google drive installed after I switched the BI folder to onedrive and google drive doesnt crash anymore. I guess its having problems with all the activity. One drive is working fine, they just dont give as much free space as google.

i am having the same problem. switched to onedrive for now, wish i could switch back.
