So i quit update, after installing a Seagate SkyHawk ST6000VX001 6TB 3.5" Internal Hard Drive - SATA 6.0Gb/s - 256MB Buffer i have had no issues yet!! I do believe i am out of the woods (still holding my breath a little bit) but it seems like there must have been a issues with that HHD...
