I checked the video this morning and discovered that one of my cameras (I only run two!) stopped recording about 1AM and showed "no video" and then began recording around 8AM.
Camera 1 had no interruptions, just Camera 2. I checked the database logs and rebuilt the DB but there were no apparent...
I decided to upgrade just my CPU, memory, and Motherboard. I was on an older I7-6700, which worked fine... but I the annoying "Windows end of life" messages...time to upgrade to Windows 11 (which I use on my laptop and main computers). The current CPU and motherboard were not eligible for the...
A few days ago my IP address for CAM 1 changed on it's own to the IP address for CAM 2. I am only running two Uniview 4K cameras on BI with CPAI. Never a problem.
We were not home, so I can't understand why CAM 1 suddenly began recording with the IP of CAM 2...so I ended up with duplicate...
I did not think a 45 minute power outage on a 107 degree day would cause all kinds of problems with Blue Iris and the Code AI.!! Yes I am on a Cyberpower 1500va battery backup.
When the power came back on, the Code AI did not work, the cameras were showing video feed but zero "triggers". Also...
First, I got things back working. However I removed the Nvidia GTX 1650 from the computer and switched Code AI to "CPU" as well as the associated settings in BI.
Yesterday, I got the "popup" to update the software for the Nvidia card (nothing unusual about that) with the "game ready" drivers...
My system failed detection a couple days ago using DeepStack, so I switched to Code AI. It seems that I installed things correctly per instructions, and the server is running fine.
However all objects are "nothing found" and Blue Iris won't post anything in the "ALERTS".
Is something missing...
Two days ago this happened. I am running only two cameras (Univ 4mp) and suddenly I am getting "database" error (rebuilt twice!), and the "ALERTS" are not posting in the sidebar. I am getting AI timeouts of 15,000 ms....
I rolled back BI to 5.6.5.0 thinking my last update broke the system. I...
This morning's update (and there has been one every day for the past 2-3 days!) seems to have broken my "motion alerts" on one of my cameras. The alerts timeline did not show any clip even though there was activity. It was necessary to change the settings from "Alerts" to "Zone A" in order for...
This only started recently, about the time as the last BI upgrade where the new "time line" was added to the UI3 remote viewing.
However it also happens on the main BI pc.
The only thing changed recently (by me) was to activate the on board graphics (which were disabled because I have a video...
This video was a coyote attack on an unsuspecting cat from the neighborhood. (Spoiler Alert: the cat survived). A juvenile coyote got the cat, and it was a fight for it's life. A second juvenile coyote joined in.
The cat was able to hide on our front porch, and about 30 minutes later (after...
This just started yesterday after a "power outage". Several IP's were reset (by one digit), which is odd. I have returned all to correct settings. NOW by BI remote (which is wireless access point) gives me continual "busy" and only loads if I turn down the resolution to below 720mp. It was...
I am new. What I am seeking is a model of IP camera which has the ethernet POE connection inside the camera. 10 years ago we installed GeoVision, I thought they had a design where you could run ethernet cable
thru a small hole in the wall and then attach the plug, then it plugged into a port...
