Anybody know the status of the Android BI client?

Yea, I think i am going to move to Apple. Apple isn't perfect by any means but I'm ready for a different set of problems.

Anybody know the status of the Android BI client?

I don't blame the banks, I blame Google for not allowing older phones to be updated. This amounts to thievery as far as I'm concerned.

The noose is slowly being tightened. Soon freedom will be nothing more than a distant memory. Personal choice will be a thing of the past. Change is inevitable, whether it's for the good or the bad only the Gods know.

Anybody know the status of the Android BI client?

It could be that the Play Store doesn't show apps that aren't compatible with the current OS. I have a Nexus 6 that still works perfectly and the battery life is nothing short of astounding. I really hate to part with it but it looks like I have no choice. My bank has notified me that after Feb...

I believe you are correct. Does this mean the older version is no longer available?

Anybody know the status of the Android BI client?

When I search for Blue Iris in the Play Store I get nothing but 3rd party. Even BI Perspective returns nothing but garbage. I have the genuine Perspective client installed on my phone. It's version 5.5.3.7. It works OK and would work for my friend. It's nowhere to be found in the play store...

Many cores or greater speed, which is more important?

CPU usage is at 33% so I'll go read the wiki. I was thinking the power draw would be considerably higher with the dually system.

Many cores or greater speed, which is more important?

I currently have BI running on a server with a i7 4790 cpu running at 3.6GHz and 16GB of ram. 11 cams. I have available a dual processor server running 2 E5 2620's running at 2.00GHz. 24 cores total. 64GB of ram. I also have a couple of E5 2670's available I could drop in which would boost it...

    Wall of shame

I'll never understand why people will pay a 3rd party for the privilege of accessing IP cams that they own in their home. My next door neighbor does this and thinks they are monitoring has cams for him. They're doing no such thing. Where ignorance is bliss.......

What exactly are "Active Requests" ?

Thanks. The server is exposed to the Internet via port forwarding. Need to change this. I've been trying to figure Stunnel out but haven't had any luck. It all looks like giberish to me. Are there Blue Iris specific instructions out there anywhere?

What exactly are "Active Requests" ?

Under Status --> Connections --> Active Requests. Earlier this morning it was showing 18 active requests. I have 11 cameras. I've never seen more than 3 active requests previously. Just need to know if "Active Requests" includes both internal (LAN) and external (from the internet) requests...

What exactly are "Active Requests" ?

I hate to ask this as I suspect the answer is simple and is out there somewhere but I'll be damned if I can find it. Google returns absolutely nothing but unrelated gibberish. I'd like to know where these active requests are coming from. Thank you

    Blue Iris UI3

Updated to 5.5.0.15 and now UI3 doesn't work at all. Still troubleshooting. EDIT : Rolled it back a notch and now it's working again. Problem is with 5.5.0.15.

Yup. That's the idea. I'd avoid wireless if at all possible.
