    Review-EmpireTech 8MP 45x PTZ SD8C845FG-HNF

Here it is on front of house. It’s a bit too obvious for my taste. Wanted to paint it brown but that voids the warranty. Not sure what those lookie-loos were pointing at.

Here's a day clip showing how well the auto tracking stays on point even through the trees. I plan on trimming those trees a bit soon.

I've had this camera for a while now and its my favorite. One thing I could never get working was the IR/white light setttings. They don't seem to stick for me.

Buried Cat5 to front of driveway

Thanks for all the replies. Sounds like I'd be safe to run two cables along the pipe. Maybe do a few inches of dirt between the pipe and cable do avoid vibrations. I do plan on putting a small switch down at the front driveway for "expansion" = More cameras.

Buried Cat5 to front of driveway

Yeah I'm having to repave my concrete driveway. They want 9$/sft for high PSI concrete with rebar. They cheaped out on the first concrete and its falling apart (was done before I owned the house) Look at that pic and now imagine how much its going to cost me.

Buried Cat5 to front of driveway

We are doing a landscaping project and the plan calls for a sprinkler zone down to the front of the house where I want to place LPR camera. Distance is about 180 ft -- see pic. Was thinking it would be nice to run cat5 in the trench where they are putting the sprinkler pipe which would make...

Yes I am capturing dual stream. I think you could be correct. I lowered image quality to 75%. Will report back to see if this helps

    Weathercam FTP image resolution

So moving the time stamp over didnt work. I am fairly certain this is a resolution issue. It is the same thing that happens in UI3 when you enlarge an image to fullscreen. For a sec the image is low res and the time stamp is large... then the high res image kicks in and the time stamp gets...

    Weathercam FTP image resolution

The time stamp is camera overlay, not BI. I will try dragging it over to see what happens. That's a good idea.

    Weathercam FTP image resolution

Not sure exactly where to post this, because I'm not sure where the problem lies. I have a 4K color cam as a weather cam that is pushing images to Ambient Weather by FTP. Ambient creates an mpg from the images which is kind of cool. There is a problem with the FTP images where the image...

Send Pushover notifications with pictures and hyperlinks

Perhaps, but I am on Windows 10 Ver 21H2 which uses TLS 1.2. I checked my registry and there are no settings that would suggest I have TLS 1.1 as an override default
