how to download footage from dahua nvr to pc??

Just a piggyback question to this thread--is it worth buying a Dahua NVR to use primarily for 24 hr recording, or would a regular old ONVIF NVR do? The context here is I have 20 Dahua cameras (nearly all from Andy) that I administer through the web GUI and DMSS on my Android phone. I record...

Review: IPC-LPR237B-IR / Equivalent of Dahua ITC237-PW6M-IRLZF1050-B - ANPR, Traffic & Access Control Camera

Thanks for the clarification. I was looking forward to picking up an IPC-LPR237B-IR to replace my Z12, but the size ended up being the determining factor to stick with what I have.

Review: IPC-LPR237B-IR / Equivalent of Dahua ITC237-PW6M-IRLZF1050-B - ANPR, Traffic & Access Control Camera

Wildcat, in your initial review I think you mentioned that the exposure and shutter (and may all other camera conditions) on this camera do not have day/night mode and one would need to have one set of settings to accommodate both day and night conditions. I certainly could have misread it, but...

I'm also using Windows and, so far, the 32 bit Pale Moon seems to be working.

Best firmware/browser to make 5442 settings stick

When you guys save the settings (4 or 5 times) in IE, do you log out of the camera before closing the browser window? I haven't compared whether logging off before closing makes a difference, but something tells me that it does.

I have Bluriris and still have issues. For the folks that are having success using just IE, what firmware are you using?

Best firmware/browser to make 5442 settings stick

I've primarily used regular old IE, but I find after a given period of time, the FPS always reverts back to 30 and the iframe to something double whatever the FPS is. Also, the time settings always move an hour.

Best firmware/browser to make 5442 settings stick

Now running 4 PC-T5442T-ZEBs and 3 T5442T-AS's with V2.820.0000000.2.R firmware (Build Date: 2021-04-03) running on all. Haven't had any luck getting settings to stick with IE, Chrome, and Chrome with the IE extension. Just wondering if anyone had a firmware/browser combo that they found to...

Review-Dahua/EmpireTech Dual lens IPC-HDBW5441F-AS-E2 (The Boobie Cam Upgrade)

I had a similar issue with the plugin. It was a different plugin than the other Dahua cameras that I have (all purchased from Andy) and did seem to overwrite the old ones. Both channels were viewable once installed but it was a hassle.

    IPC-HDBW5441F-AS-E2

Yep. I'm looking forward to reducing my Deepstack CPU usage for the 4 2mp cams (2 cams x 2 sensors) that I'm replacing these with.

    IPC-HDBW5441F-AS-E2

I got a couple of these cams yesterday and the issues with the 2mp version have been addressed--i.e., IVS and AI features work on both channels and the camera temperature is normal, not hot. The form factor is smaller than the 2mp version. The lenses are closer together and the camera...

New Amcrest AD410 doorbell Cam Review

If anyone needs a different angle mount, wedge mount, or a corner mount for the AD410, I requested a seller on Etsy make one for me and it turned out perfect (he did a custom angle for me). Here's a link to the listing. The angle mount that comes with the doorbell is only 15 degrees and I...

REVIEW- Dahua SD1A404XB-GNR 4MP AI mini PTZ

I'll be getting my SD1A404XB-GNR this week and mounting it to the bottom of a wooden beam near the entryway to my home. For asthetic reasons I'd like to paint the camera (except the dome, of course) thr color of the beam. I realize the IR illuminators are on the edges of the bottom black part...

New Amcrest AD410 doorbell Cam Review

Anyone with the Ad410 figured out how to keep the ip address static? Using the Surveillance Pro tool I imputed the necessary info in the network menu and they apparently were saved, but the doorbell still randomly jumps to another ip address from time to time.

    Disable target filter?

Thansk, wittaj. That's what I figured. I've had just the human box check and haven't gotten any alerts, but I'll add a tripwire to see if that changes things.

    Disable target filter?

I'm running an SD6CE445XA-HNR with "deep IVS" basically to look at interesting stuff in my neighborhood. Regardless of what I try, I'm unable to uncheck "target filter" using IVS so as to pick up objects that aren't humans or motor vehicles. In my case, I just want to watch people jump down...

Amcrest AD110 - Can I do better than this?

A few days ago replaced a few months old AD110 with the AD410 and it's a night and day difference. The AD110 had a darker picture that got progressively darker the longer I had it. It also had connectively issues and it seems like it always had a yellow triangle in Blue Iris. AD410 works...

Using IR illuminator with street light and ambient light

Since I wasn't able to see the Axton IR at all with the Z12E when aiming it, I'm now thinking the cut filter is the problem. Observing the Axton through the 2231T-TS I could make shadow puppets on the median 250' away. If that's the case, my Z12E cut filter hasn't worked since I first...

Using IR illuminator with street light and ambient light

Wittaj, I've not tried, but will but will check when I'm able to physically get back in a couple of weeks. A IR filter isn't something that I'm familiar with. Would I need to physically take the camera apart to fix?

Using IR illuminator with street light and ambient light

Biggen, I agree. I'm running a Dahua branded Z12E with the latest firmware from the Dahua site. My settings are attached. From outward purposes, the IR on the camera seems to work in that I see four rather ominous looking glowing dots at night. When I was trying to aim the Axton illuminator...

Using IR illuminator with street light and ambient light

Well, I installed the Axton Nano 5 watt, 10 degree illuminator and while the illuminator certainly worked, it didn't provide much noticeable improvement to my LPR capture. I'm running a HFW5231E-Z12E and have to thread a bit of a needle through two trees (see attached) with ambient light...

Using IR illuminator with street light and ambient light

@biggen, I sure did, and I should be getting the 10 degree version in the next day or so. I'll document my progress with photos. I'm finding surprisingly little on the impact of white light on infrared light, but you post was extremely helpful to see what's possible with at least an 11 watt 10...

Using IR illuminator with street light and ambient light

Thanks again, @biggen. Thanks again, @biggen. Those photos are really helpful. I'm wondering if the 5 watt and 30 degree angle dispersed the IR too much--or possibly I have really crappy aim. I think I'm going to try the 5 watt 10 degree variation next, just because for my application that...
