Review: IPC-LPR237B-IR / Equivalent of Dahua ITC237-PW6M-IRLZF1050-B - ANPR, Traffic & Access Control Camera

Thanks, wildcat. No, I was just curious. I spent a lot of time fine tuning my 237 settings and they are great, but I'm wondering if it's worth the upgrade to the 437. If it has an easy to use blacklist feature, that might win me over. I know there are ways to do it with the 237 but in trying the...

Can anyone with the 437 up and running post some screenshots of the settings menu and the updated GUI?

Review: IPC-LPR237B-IR / Equivalent of Dahua ITC237-PW6M-IRLZF1050-B - ANPR, Traffic & Access Control Camera

I use both Blue Iris and a Dahua 5416-16P-4KS2E. The NVR is fine but the enhanced search features only allow you to search for one week back. I usually use the camera GUI because I mine has been going for 18 months and I haven't filled up my 256gb sd card yet. Mine is more than 95 percent...

Review: IPC-LPR237B-IR / Equivalent of Dahua ITC237-PW6M-IRLZF1050-B - ANPR, Traffic & Access Control Camera

I've been running the 237 for a year and a half and the vehicle ID is pretty worthless--lots of Tatamotors and Daihatsu for American made cars. If the 437 works even a little bit that'd be an improvement.

    No Signal issue

My camera had a static address also when I had this issue, it's just that the camera's address was within the IP range that the router assigned other IP addresses to newly connected devices. The setup was in a rental property so new devices were connecting all the time. It was a real...

    No Signal issue

I had a similar issue recently where a camera suddenly started dropping its signal. After changing the cable ends, testing with other cameras, etc, I finally diagnosed the issue as IP address related. In my router the DHCP reservation range was from 1 to 101 and the ip for my trouble cam was...

Good deal Annke 180 degree dual 1/1.8 for $220?

Default setting for substream was 1920x536. I turned it down to other (and only other) option of 960x262 and that has dropped the CPU usage by about about 12 percent. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction!

Good deal Annke 180 degree dual 1/1.8 for $220?

Yep, both main and sub seem to be working fine. Mainstream averages about 1150kps and substream 200 kps. Still trying to figure out why the jump in CPU.

Good deal Annke 180 degree dual 1/1.8 for $220?

The substream appears to be working fine in Blue Iris. I'm assuming it's the high mainstream rate. Or maybe, despite have direct-to-disc setup, it's not processing the substream for this particular camera.

Good deal Annke 180 degree dual 1/1.8 for $220?

Correct, yes. This one. These are my first Hikvision OEMs but they appear to run the Hikvision firmware--i.e., remote access uses the Hik-Connect, not AnnkeVision platform.

Good deal Annke 180 degree dual 1/1.8 for $220?

I picked up a couple of these cams for two different systems that run Blue Iris. My CPU usage jumped about 25 percent on each system after adding the cameras. The mainstream streams at about 1100kps, about 10 times what my 5442s stream. I use direct-to-disk and the other recommended Blue Iris...

    Snipping pigtail wires an alarm-outs

Just wondering if there are any potential problems with snipping one or more of the alarm-out/unneeded pigtail connections to reduce the size of the pigtail. I'm contemplating a tree install and will only need the POE connection and would rather jettison the other connections if doing so want...

    DS-2CD2387G2P-LSU/SL Panoramic 4k

I've only had Dahua cameras so this would be my first Hikvision camera. Question to folks on this thread that have experience with Dahua cameras with human/motor vehicle filtering: is the AI on this Hikvision panoramic camera better, same, or worse than the Dahua AI when using the human/motor...

Good deal Annke 180 degree dual 1/1.8 for $220?

For anyone with this Annke/Hikvision panoramic camera, how does the human/motor vehicle detection compare to the 5442 series and other Dahua cameras with human/motor vehicle detection filtering in IVS (not SMD) in terms of accuracy?

    NVR5416 remote access bandwidth

That's a fair question and honestly it's been a while since I tried to access the NVR recordings on the LAN. I recall it worked previously on the LAN, though. I have 4hdds in the NVR. If I did a factory reset of the NVR, would I still be able to access past recordings? I would assume the reset...

    NVR5416 remote access bandwidth

I've got a DHI-NVR5416-4KS2 that I bought from Andy to use primarily for 24 hour backup recording. I have gigabit fiber Internet and have a Netgear 16 port POE switch that is plugged into one of the ports of the router. I have 12 Dahua cams plugged into that 16 port switch, together with my Blue...

    TIOC target filter settings

I'm using a IPC-HDW3449H-AS-PV-3.6mm TIOC cam I purchased from Andy recently (V2.820.15OG000.0.R, Build Date: 2021-04-03). I have an intrusion box that triggers the camera occasionally when a cat--obviously not human--appears in the box, despite the "human" target filter being checked. My IVS...

Review- 4mp Pinhole Camera Dahua/EmpireTech with 2.8mm lens

I've not used one of the pinhole cams before, but I saw this updated version on the Dahua website that has sd card support and a human/vehicle detection, which would makes this very attractive for an application that I have. I also appears to be POE powered through the external box, unless I'm...
