Troubleshooting single camera view freeze on Hikvision 7608NI-E2

Try to turn off auto-change stream type so it'll stop switching streams when you go from multi to single, also enable hardware decoding might help. The hardware decoding feature might not be in some older version Can you try watching all of them in a multi-view AND set to substream for all...

Replacing Hikvison DS-7608NI-E2 with different unit - Suggestions?

I belive Interlogix's Truvision is also made by Hikvision...at least their cameras looks like it with slight physical differences.. Pretty depressing how many brands are just Hik/Dahua in disguise. TruVision | Video Solutions | Interlogix Global Security Products Maybe get a Hik machine that...

Hi Tangent, just looking for an DIY wireless, accurate self-monitor system that has an app to arm/disarm it, makes a loud noise when someone breaks in and able to send me accurate notifications on the phone so i can call the cops. 2 major entrance doors (each already with a camera pointed at...

    Dome Hikvision Picture looks odd?

Try the steps mentioned in this pdf to fix it: http://overseas.hikvision.com/ueditor/net/upload/2015-06-10/99361bb6-27d5-482a-aaf3-2cdc32f835d1.pdf Also if your smart IR is on, try to turn it off and see if it helps with the beam.

    HIKVision Nightmate

The details when you add the device should be the NVR's login and password. Try to make a new user account on the machine then add it to ivms4200 in case something's wrong with the admin account. if your 5 MP ip bullet is not hikvision it might not work. I would plug in the hikvision camera...

Why are my HIK 7716 NVR's performing so slowly?

See if they are willing to give you a discount on the 7732 (which is double the bandwidth) for your next 16 channel job if the firmware upgrade or their suggestions doesn't fix it.

    Dahua SD59225U-HNI Camera

Wow how did it escalate so quickly... For anyone interested, this is how it should look for a typical install: (i would not use the built-in POE for 3rd party stuff via ONVIF, at least not at first) 1. Dahua IP PTZ address should be under same subnet as router (for example, if router is...

I'd like a Hikvision with 2 way audio that has offers 3+ MP....any recommendations?

If theres a truth in the industry then its will have a copy sooner or later, just like how dahua copied their exir. Motorized Turret 2.8-12mm with EXIR is already available in HD TVI for a very low price from Hik....(around $85-100 in US) first one to get the IP starlight hik stuff should...

    Dahua SD59225U-HNI Camera

Try ONVIF protocol. Port should be the Http port (default 80) and not the 37777 port login might still be admin/admin

I'd like a Hikvision with 2 way audio that has offers 3+ MP....any recommendations?

The dahua starlight is so good even dahua US distributors don't seem to carry them (then no one would buy anything else probably)

Can Hik DS-7600 NVR record audio from its Audio Input RCA jack?

The RCA jack on the NVR is for LIVE 2 way audio only. If you want audio recording you need an IP camera that supports audio (either through an external mic or a built-in Mic) But the RCA jack on a DVR (analog/HD TVI system) will work for audio recording though, so I do see where the confusion...

LTS cams bricked after enabling h264zip+

Glad to hear it! It really helped that LTS organized their firmwares in an easy and clearly marked way (and updated!) unlike Hik or the impossible to find firmwares of Dahua

    HIKVision NVR rebooting utility

Use the IVMS4200 client to remotely reboot...this works off their server/RTSP port and not Http port so might work for you if you are having http port issue...

LTS cams bricked after enabling h264zip+

Your other way to reset them to default will be to TFTP flash using the LTS firmware from their site (make sure you get the right model), which should default them without climbing up there (just need access to the POE switch so you can flash them one at a time by unplugging the others).

LTS cams bricked after enabling h264zip+

Here's a picture if you don't see the button, I would try it with the most accessible camera first and see if it works. Edit: if you have the motorized version and the cover doesn't seem to come off, the reset button might be on the cable or below the camera.

LTS cams bricked after enabling h264zip+

Do they still show up on SADP? Have you try to access them via the software? There should be a reset button on each camera if you remove the lens cover as a last resort or don't feel like troubleshooting, above the SD card slot (but you probably don't have to unmount them) should get them...

Difference Between Hikvision/LTS and AXIS, Vivotek, and ACTI

Hikvision NVR + IPCam - no substream available

The default substream resolution (640 x 360) for the new cameras (4 MP/2 MP with WDR) is a weird number that most older NVR doesn't support (without upgrading firmware) if you can't find the firmware for your NVR, log into the camera and lower the substream resolution to 352x240 and you should...

    DS-7604NI-S cannot connect DS-2CD2122FWD-I

Looks like the NVR is too old to support that camera (NVR firmware goes back to 2011 and the camera is 2016) I would see if you can find new firmware for your NVR or to lower the resolution of your new camera for both main and sub-stream and see if it can connect.
