    Currently I'm running a android mini pc using ivms4500HD as a second monitor. I'm viewing the sub stream and noticed that after a while it just stops showing the video and I have to reload the app.. Anyone have some ideas? Or run a similar setup where it works? Thanks

    Why turrets instead of bullets?

    My choice to get a turret over a bullet was better IR coverage and A LOT less spider webs. Less likely to be knocked out of view too.

    I'll have to agree with @reeves1985.. Make sure the NVR has enough bandwidth to handle the amount of bandwidth each camera will be using.

    Use 8.8.8.8 as your primary dns in the NVR.. Seems to do the trick using gmail if your settings are correct.

    That is your problem.. You're connecting to your internal address when not on WiFi.. Goto https://www.whatismyip.com/ and use that address. I would setup a no-ip account and use that if you don't have a static ip

    Push Notification Issue

    I switched over to IVMS-4500 and the push notifications work as long as the app is open. If I close the app notifications do not come through. I've been emailing Hikvision about the issue and their looking into both IVMS-4500 and the HD version.

    I just gave it a try and I still get the same error.. I also noticed that the from: is 2015-11-29 09:36 to: 2015-12-02 09:36. I got the notification at 9:34.. It seems there might be an issue with the app itself?

    I disabled windows firewall and my anti virus when I tried this.. I'm gonna give this another try when I get home and just add it to windows firewall... I would ping -t 192.0.0.64 when the NVR would boot.. It did see it was there.. but once that message showed up it would boot as normal. .
