    That may work i don't have any house close by! i can buy one camera at this time so, i am torn between testing out a wireless one or try the new DS-2CD2042WD-I, I want to use a 12mm mount high on barn to look over my field its about 350 long ,the end of field is to far away for the 4mm .

    At night time the front house camera has an issue... i am thinking the ir is reflecting of the white azek trim. Any thoughts? Short video of another concern with cam. Right at 3 second mark it switches back to being clear? What settings should i look at?

    Thank you, so far new system seems to be working well,I made the suggested changes, i am going to unlock all the clips when i get home, we shall see if they are still getting deleted!

    I have one large drive, I was just keeping all files on there. The storage was set to 14 days, that may have been the cause. I was thinking being the new folder was set to 400 days it would not delete or move any folders till after that, then they would be deleted.

    Update still working on it, seems the issue is fix ,but i am missing some files. trying to track them down! Seems the system has deleted them? If its set right should not delete till 514 days.

    Update: I finally just got around to reloading windows, i change the drive back to basic, created an image, restore point and back disc of entire Hd. Thanks everyone

    Yeah I think my son was screwing with pc , I think he caused the mbr got corrupted or deleted some how, I may have caused the disc to change when i was in command prompt trying to restore mbr. Can i use an image of drive to reinstall?
