Schedule and preset names

i have been running two schedules that i use. One is mainprofile ( i use every day) with alerts, and second is weekend with limit amount of alerts.

My question is that i made a party schedule to recored full time and no alerts, but i notice now the alerts are gone on the on my mainprofile,. what am i missing to set up these different schedules to alert and record.

I am looking to set certain parameter for each schedule made. alert text time differences, recording on one (party) vs triggering on (mainprofile)

Are you using profiles to define your schedule or presets, as these change things in the camera settings differently? Can you send a screen shot of your schedule from BI Options?

There is really no reason to complicate things with multiple schedules for your setup..simple create multiple profiles...use the default schedule to switch between work and main..when its raining or you have a party simply switch to their respective profiles.

You really dont need a video...delete all your schedules except for main profile..leave it the way it is...
Setup another two profiles...one for rain, one for party...dont put them in the schedule...engage them manually when needed...
Remember to set motion detection/record and alerts for each camera and new profile.

mainprofile sends texts for every motion event, certain camera run trigger/periodical, i want the party profile not to send texts and record continuous on one camera. But when i set to party profile, then deselect sms text alert,set one cam to continuous record , it changes main profile. how do i stop that from happen ? or what am i doing wrong?

You are confusing profiles with preset names or schedules...leave only 1 preset name....Then create multiple profiles..

yes i am calling it profiles , its label preset names . (firstpic in first post)

you are say delete all y preset names move over to profile table and use that for the party, weekend, rain where its labeled daytime, etc

Yes, this is how he is recommending you do it.

In the end, you should have:

1 Preset = MainProfile

1 Profile = Daytime
1 Profile = Nighttime (guessing at what profile 2 is for you)
1 Profile = Weekend
1 Profile = Rain
1 Profile = Party

Set the preset to MainProfile and set the schedule with both Daytime and Nighttime as you have in screen shot #1 (blue and green) from BI Options. Then set each of the camera alerts/triggers/recordings as desired for each of the profiles you have. When you are wanting to override the main schedule (daytime/nighttime) then use the app to change the profile.

Keep in mind that the change you force on the profile will revert after 4800 minutes according to your screenshot #1. You may also hold the profile by clicking the "refresh" looking icon until it is the universal icon for "no" (circle with slash through it).

Can this Profile sett be changed via Iphone app? I see the schedule but not the profile - .If i go into each cam i see something called preset 1-10?

yes, in the android app there is something called current schedule...in the ios app it may be called something else.
The presets for the cameras are ptz.
