    Switching Modem and router

Thank you. I purchased a wifi 6e router today and will be setting it up. I'm going to have a child any day now and don't want to lose access to the cameras while we are away at the hospital. Is step 1 placing the modem in bridge mode, then attaching the new router to the wan port? Do I mimic...

    Switching Modem and router

Hello, I have Cox cable and have they're panaramic WiFi router. I have had 6 cameras setup for years and went to add another. I found they disabled the port Forwarding function and now require you to subscribe to Cox care and they have to do it for you. My question is, how difficult would it...

    Alerts driving me insane

Here's the steps I just tried to resolve my issues. Tips from previous posts in this thread, ran repair/regenerate, deleted the camera, imported settings from a working camera and now all is well. I have to tweak some motion detection settings to limit useless triggers but otherwise the issues...

    Alerts driving me insane

The HDD that died was the os drive with BI on it. I replaced it with an SSD and installed BI on it again. I run a purple drive for all storage needs. The funny thing is, any time motion triggered, the same timestamped image/clip would be pushed and notified to our phones but it was a repeat...

    Alerts driving me insane

I guess that isn't only my problem, the notifications are the same as you can see by the timestamps.

    Alerts driving me insane

I fairly recently had a hdd die, and had to start totally over. I am getting duplicate alerts/notifications when a camera is triggered. I have researched left and right trying to figure out how to fix this but no luck, hopefully y'all can help. I also ran repair database. For this porch camera I...

    Settings for continuous recording

I installed a new WD purple 2tb to record continuously. (1 cam currently). I have it setup but more than likely incorrectly, as the new drive (New_S) is barely being used. I have attached screenshots of the settings I currently have in place. What kind of folders should I add to the WD purple...

    New camera, unable to access

Great note for next time. I never used the config tool with my other dahuas so I had no clue what I was doing other than initializing the camera. I resetted via @biggen recommendation and now it's all good. Thank you all.

    New camera, unable to access

Nope. Tried 0000, 1111, 1234 as well. Bought from Amazon, could have been a return, didn't look like it though looks brand new.

    New camera, unable to access

I got to the login screen for the camera but the default. Username (admin) and password (admin) do not work. I sent a message to the seller and may just return it if i can't get into the camera .

    New camera, unable to access

Looking at my old threads on this forum, i ran across this reply from Philip Gonzalez which worked for me last time: You may be able to change the IP address of these cams with the Dahua Config Tool, but I haven't had much luck or patience trying that method. The easiest way for me to change...

    New camera, unable to access

What would be the safest way to do this? I read a guide on it but I'm unsure whether using the blue iris pc is a safe bet. I'd hate to screw up what i already have running.

    New camera, unable to access

Hello, I bought an additional camera, the HDW4433. I downloaded the toolbox and initialized the camera, however i cannot access the camera in any way, not even the admin panel. The only thing i can come up with is the gateway is different (192.168.0 vs 192.168.1) . Upon trying the modify ip...

I believe so. I have restarted the computer as well as blue Iris but no luck.
