I could go that route as well but I prefer to specify the location of the overlay per camera. I'm using chrome. The timestamp works when I save and exit. It stays for a few days and then goes away. I just checked and when I posted this thread I re-enabled the timestamp. Now it's gone again.

I have 3 of the same Loryta IPC-T5442TM-AS cameras and have been running them for a while now. For some reason none of them hold the time overlay. I go and set them via the web administrative console and it takes...but after a few days they just magically disappear and I need to back in and...

Went with a Loryta IPC-T5442TM-AS and I think it's about right. Not able to mount it lower. This is 9:30PM with landscape lighting on (dim) and overhead lighting on (also dim). I'm not even sure the IR will ever turn on.
