Hi I’ve just updated to this new update not expecting a complete revamp of the software and completely messing with how things are done. I’m having same issues and from what I can see it looks like a user nightmare to even attempt to go through the recordings

I’ve had this problem since a previous update which give the basic and digest options. I get this and a grey screen. I have no idea how to get the rtsp feed working it’s been a long time now. I use to have my feeds show up through app on tv but nothing works now.

I currently save files from nvr to a lightning to usb stick then plug it into iPad or iPhone then use file converter app and change it to mp4 video that way. Then save to my cloud storage or in photo library and then can edit in iMovie or something similar.

After looking at these I’ve just realised my 7608 E2 is obsolete as the new ones here. Plus the firmwares won’t update from .96

Hi I’ve just ordered the hikvision 3mp 2035 and replacing my 4mp 2042 for better video at night. I’ve read a few of your comments and was hoping you could point me in the right direction to see some posts about this. I’ve tried searching for this camera and not too many posts related to it. Thanks

Looks like it’s just a overall software bug across the whole product line :-)

It’s not just that particular nvr with these I have the standard 7608 E2 with 4mp. This has 80mbps and get emails on one and blanks on the other camera which occasionally sends one photo. The 8mp cameras won’t work properly on that nvr you have mine only says it supports up to 6mp

They have released a new version for 4K and up to 12mp cameras. From what I've read though they haven't improved the fans on them.

Im interested in the 8mp version but will probably be waiting a long time to see these arrive in the uk. Also not sure on the 7608 4knvr to power it. I'm currently using the 7608 e2 version and it's pretty loud with the fan.
