How to get wifi to back of wooded property?

I would like to get a few wifi cams set up outdoors in the back of my property. The distance is about 250-300 yards from the main house. I was thinking I could maybe use a few repeaters that are either solar powered or that use batteries. Anyone accomplished something like this? FYI - I...

    EmpireTech 8th Anniverasay Sales July.18th-23rd

Yeah , looking back at my PMs..I did reach out when I purchased them. However I didn't get a number at that time since it was so early, I should have reached back out again instead of assuming I'd get a number closer to the drawing. Oh well, nothing I can do now. While it sucks, I really can't...

Yeah it did but when the memorial day sale was posted I thought it said you'd get an entry in the July drawing.

Damn, I purchased several cams around Memorial Day but never got a number in the drawing :( Congrats to the winners!

Code project AI no longer triggering alerts

If you try again, double check the CPAI port. When I updated the version I had to change it from 5000 to 32168. I guess they changed it in one of the more recent releases. Good luck!

Code project AI no longer triggering alerts

Strange you had issues. I've been running BI 5.7.6.8 and CPAI 2.1.9.0 fine since my initial posts. Not sure how I got it to work again but it's been solid the past 2 weeks.

Code project AI no longer triggering alerts

Good thought but unfortunately it was multiple cameras. I never rebooted them during my troubleshooting and eventually got the alerts working again so I don't think it was the cams. Still not a bad idea to power cycle them periodically though!

Code project AI no longer triggering alerts

Final update for the night. After updating BI and Code Project AI, updating the AI port from 5000 to 32168, stopping and starting the code project AI server many times, and rebooting the PC 5 or 6 times...it seems to be working again. If anyone has a clue why this happened or how I can prevent...

Code project AI no longer triggering alerts

Out of the blue my BI Code Project AI stopped detecting motion. Last one I received was yesterday afternoon. Nothing changed. I tried to reboot the PC but that didn't work. I checked the code project ai server page and it shows "Object Detection (YOLOv5 6.2)" is started. Motion detection is...

Send Pushover notifications with pictures and hyperlinks

Is it possible to also push the image to the cloud when motion is detected? It's nice to have on my phone which should be fine. But in some kind of disaster scenario where someone broke in and stole the PC and phone, there would be no evidence. It would be nice to also have it stored to the...

Remotely connecting to Blue Iris PC from phone

TinyCam might work fine but UI3 is good enough for me. This solution has worked very well and meets my needs.

    Mount camera to vinyl soffit

I have vinyl soffit. They slide into place and each piece is screwed into the fascia board. When looking up, I can only start at the end where the first piece can slide off easily. It would be impossible to start at the last piece because all previous pieces are screwed in. So the way they...

    2023 EmpireTech Memorial Day Sales

I don't know what it is about the turret cams but I just find they arent as flexible as a bullet cam. The wire coming off the "eyeball" of my IPC-T5449H-ASE-D2 cameras is a pain. The camera is still nice but I don't get quite as good of a picture for some reason. With a bullet cam I can...

    2023 EmpireTech Memorial Day Sales

I can't recommend the IPC-Color4K-X enough. It is by far the best camera I have used to date. I have one on my soffit facing the driveway, and the only real light it gets at night is from the doorbell (I turned off the bright light on the cam itself) and the picture quality is amazing...

Have i maxed out my BI system?

Well guys, I'll admit when I've screwed up. I had forgot I upgraded my BI version back in April for the first time. Somehow my substreams got wiped out in BI (they were enabled in the cam UI, but gone from BI). I also found a recent camera I set up was not doing direct to disc recording...
