    I read your review a few minutes ago. I've already got a 5241 Z12 and don't think the S3 it would be much of an upgrade. Most of all i'd love a Z12 version of the 4K Color X (IPC-HFW5849T1-ASE-LED) but i know i'm pushing it :)

    Such a shame, why limit one to only using branded cameras when RTSP gives you alot more choice!

    The V4.002.0000000.5.R, Build Date: 29-07-2022 FW doesn't allow for adding an RTSP stream which i think is unacceptable. Please be so kind to contact Dahua and advise them to insert the RTSP camera add option, @EMPIRETECANDY . TIA

    Which is the better NVR?

    I was told by a Dahua installer that while higher capacity HDDs than those on Dahua's website may work, they may demand a higher Amps PSU and may cause freezing and other malfunctions to the NVR. If i come across a higher than specified HDD i'll give it a try.
