    Hi, my dahua nvr has four Poe cables going outside to four cameras. Can I split one cable and use that cable to not just do a camera but also to have a Poe powered access point?

    new hdd inserted when I purchased the nvr and it did work all the time. First I need to find the sata to usb adapter, so will take some time before I can update

    Though I like the idea it is not like I have those lying around :) I think I have somewhere an adapter from sata to usb. Would it be best to format the hdd from there and try again?

    My Dahua NVR4108 gives three beeps when booting up. If I look in the logs I see at first an hdd error but then gone. If I look in system storage I can detect the hdd. But when I click on hdd I can’t format it and also it is not recording. What is best to do? Hdd is like two years old max.

    Hi, Apparently last night a burglary in our neighbourhood to place. Sadly I have not activated motion and sound alarms. Is there a smart way to do that with a recording? Going through 8 hours of timeframe is rather lengthly or risky I miss something. Dahua NVR setup. Thanks

    ok need to update the situation :) I see in the logs now that the account on that camera is locked. Anyway to reset? I have a monitor hooked up to the nvr, but don't see an option to reset the password just for this camera.
