Viewing cameras over internet with no-ip.com

I get the 'no port forward" advise; however no one ever tells you how to use a VPN with cameras over the internet with safety. I do have a vpn thru ipvanish that is on all the time on my PC that show a different global IP than with my ip provider gives me. The no-ip knows what my real ip is...

BI shuts down monitors running from Sapphire Vega 64 on i7-8700

Hi, I am running a Vega 64, and the computer is on 24hrs. When I have BI running with 12 cameras, both my dual monitors (4K LG HDR), go black within a few days, maybe two or three days. I am pretty sure BI is causing the blackout. If I leave computer on 24/7 without BI running in background...

Two or more than two cameras on one cat5

1st option: I have one cat5 cable running out to a single camera. I also have 120v power there. I wish to install two additional cameras there for a total of 3 cameras, without running additional cat5 cables. I am thinking about adding a 4port switch, power the cameras and 4port switch with...

    Camera settings vs. BI settings?

I believe I am correct in saying that BI does not control fps or image size, regardless of what you put in the 'camera properties' in BI under 'video'. Your camera video settings control that. So if you wish the fps to be 10fps, then set that in your camera as well as image size say 1920 x 1080.

Drag main BI window to 2nd monitor

Hi, I used to be able to drag the whole main BI window to be on my 2nd monitor as I can do with all other windows programs; however, I am not able to move BI to my second monitor...what's the deal?

How to make audio work BI4 Hikvision 2CD2132

To make audio mic work you must check the box video/audio in the camera firmware for both the main and sub streams, as well as checking mic in not audio in box save changes.

Camera does not remain on 10fps as selected

Well, then why does BI give you the option to set fps if it is ignored?

Camera does not remain on 10fps as selected

Hikvision, I only set the fps in BI, not in the camera itself using the IP address.

Camera does not remain on 10fps as selected

Ok, I set each camera properties, video to 10fps and they all revert to 33fps or something other than what I set each camera to.
