I am seeing this on one of my IPC-T5442TM-AS I just purchased from Andy. I have another I purchased last year that does not exhibit this behavior. I upgraded both to the same firmware you have when I got the new camera.
From what I can tell it is an overly aggressive VBR algorithm. I'm using...
It is not unusual for IP security cameras to only have 10/100 Base-T. This is common and not a sign of a lesser camera. There are cameras capable for gigabit connections but most cameras don't come close to using all that bandwidth.
Axis cameras can be found with gigabit capable network...
I upgraded from 5.5.4.7 to 5.5.5.9 last night after noticing this issue with several cameras.
My observations - on 5.5.4.7 the extra 00:10 clips had a 1kb BVR file associated with them. On 5.5.5.9 I am still getting these extra clips in the database, but very few now and they don't have an...
Noctua has some LGA 1700 ready coolers available on Amazon such as this:
https://www.amazon.com/Noctua-NH-D15S-Cooler-LGA1700-mounting/dp/B09G6TRHQW?ref_=ast_sto_dp
Do be mindful of the size to make sure it fits your case. I use Noctua coolers almost exclusively. They also offer free upgrade...
Mostly same as the OP. Was used to not having them. The jpeg images in my case are sent via email for a few key locations around the house and capture some pretty clear shots of folks who come to the door. They are still clear, but now have the boxes. Since I only get the emails when...
That note is for version 5.3.4 released in 2020. I can verify that for me this did not start occuring until 11/11/2021 when I upgraded from 5.5.1.18 to 5.5.1.20 on several installs I have. For all versions before I did not have this issue.
I have confirmed that my settings are such that...
Per the status screenshot it looks like you have new, stored, alerts and aiinput all on drive G. What is is the total allocation for all of those folders? If that is not how you have it configured I would do a restart.
My setup is overkill, but I had the drives available to me.
I don't do anything special in terms of new and stored. Each camera is set to save recordings straight to one of the drives and BI deletes the oldest clips as needed. Alerts and DB are kept on C, again with the only action to be...
This began happening for me on emailed alerts when I upgraded from 5.5.1.18 to 5.5.1.20. I have not had time to troubleshoot. No configuration changes were made.
I know these past updates have quite a bit to do with deepstack integration and the rectangles suddenly appearing on alerts might...
One reason this switch is fanless is that it does not support POE on the 16 ethernet ports. It will not power cameras. The POE referenced in the specs are for powering the switch itself only.
Since that 10400f has no integrated graphics the 1050 or 1030 should work to give you at least display capability. Just as some folks have reported issues with getting Intel hardware acceleration to work with some cameras the same can be said for Nvidia.
The 1050 has both dedicated video...
Do you have substreams setup for all of your 8k cameras in BI? Even if you are direct to disk recording BI still needs to decode the video if you do things like motion detection. Intel QuickSync, like all hardware accelerators, can only decode so many frames at once. Mine seems to fall back...
The latest version of BI supports encryption of stored passwords. I see you are running 5.3.9.0. Did you enable encryption on the "Other" tabs? Maybe you found a bug.
I've been using WD/Hitachi Enterprise Drives in my systems but have 7 8TB Seagate surveillance drives in my main BI rig. The oldest ones are 4 years old and knock on wood have been trouble free. I like that the Seagate drives are all 7200rpm and from what I can tell the main difference between...
