Gt1030 vs GTX1050 gpu

Hello all I am new here and this is what I got so far
i5-10400f
16 GB DDR4
512 SSD
10TB hdd
RTX 3060 ( will be swap with one of the gpu above)
14 cams 2k
2 ptz 4 K
I need to swap that RTX3060 for gaming pc and need to buy another cheaper gpu for my non build-in GPU motherboard
Is GTX1050 ok for the cams set up or GT1030
I can find GTX1050 cheaper than gt1030!!

Many of us use just the intel graphics and be done with it. You do not need a GPU to work effectively.

Many here run a 4th generation with 30-50 cameras at sub 30% CPU...

It will be more important to follow every BI optimization seen here than to add a GPU....

I understand but my motherboard does not come with gpu if I take out that RTX3060 it will not work at all so just wondering if a GTX1050 is still compatible with the system at all thank you very much

Since that 10400f has no integrated graphics the 1050 or 1030 should work to give you at least display capability. Just as some folks have reported issues with getting Intel hardware acceleration to work with some cameras the same can be said for Nvidia.

The 1050 has both dedicated video encoder and decoder chips while the 1030 only has a decoder chip. The 1050 will use more power though. Either one should be fine for providing a video output on your PC and as wittaj pointed out you can get a lot of performance by optimizing Blue Iris.
