    Dahua DHI-NVR5464-4KS2 load balance

I'm trying to use the two NIC ports as load balancing input for 46 cameras. There are 2 switches with the cameras split up 60/40 on them. I have Network Mode set as "load balance" and the NIC MEMBER has NIC2 and NIC1 checked. I can only get one port at a time working. If I plug one of either...

New Hardware and BI v5 - Graphics requirements?

Not sure....BI is all new to me. My Dahua cams have IVS, so I can use that as a trigger if need be. I have "generic" PTZs and 4 generic turrets that I'll need to use BI's motion sense. Whatever you guys suggest...as I said, BI is new to me and I want to get a PC that will do the job. I'm fine...

New Hardware and BI v5 - Graphics requirements?

What would you suggest as a step or two up from this model you suggested? I just purchased BI and will be running 45 cams at 4MP and about 10fps.Of course, I'll use substreams. I'm also going to use IVS in most of my cams.

    Dahua firmware downgrade

I have alarm inputs used for my driveway alert and whole house security system. I did not try to downgrade through RS232 yet. This "upgrade" is terrible. I hope there's a patch for it soon. I'm looking at switching to Blue Iris as soon as I find a decent computer for my needs.

What do you experts think of this PC

    h264 vs h265

So if I'm getting this right, going from 265 to 264 will probably free up some CPU speed and possibly make the IVS work better and at the same time, won't really affect storage that much.

    h264 vs h265

What's everyone running and why? 264 vs 265. The pros and cons of them. I'm currently running 265 main stream and 264 for sub

Looking for a PC for BI

I definitely think I'll run dual 8TB drives if this is the case.

Looking for a PC for BI

I'm running 45 cams...all are at 6MP, except for 4 at 4MP I'm looking for a refurb PC that has enough CPU to do what I need here. I want it to be able to do dual channel 32G memory. I would like to have the c: drive as a SSD for the Win 10 OS and BI and I'll be adding an 8TB HDD for video...

    new firmaware

NO! I did my 64 channel version with this latest FW and am constantly having cameras log out then back in in groups of 5-7 at a time. Also cant use many IVS rules at all now. The new FW slows the NVR processor down terribly. I've yet figured out a way to downgrade the FW to the original. Don't...

    Dahua firmware downgrade

NVR5464-4KS2 After the system did a firmware upgrade, cameras all randomly go off/online ever few minutes. I know it's FW related since this NVR never had a single issue like this in the past. Now has V4.002.000000.5.R Old was V4.001.xxxxxxx Is there an easy way to roll this back to the old...

    Looking to switch to BI

I'm currently using a DHI-NVR5464 with 45 cameras (32 running IVS rules) at 10fps @ highest resolution. What's the experts recommend for PC specs to run this setup? Memory, processor speed, etc. Sorry for a basic question, but I'm new to BI. I researched this for a bit but still unsure exactly...

    Blue Iris and I/O

BI is looking more and more like a better solution than the Dahua NVR that's only 3 months old. Seems that everyone like their motion detect better than Dahua's IVS
