OMG, Xfinity Gateway WILL NOT open the port

Thank you, that does make some sense. Althought the varied IP's are a little hard to grasp since I only get the one stated on the Open Port tool, is the service provider hiding another number behind that maybe? The router I have is a modem/router combo from Xfinity. I think we opted for the...

OMG, Xfinity Gateway WILL NOT open the port

So after 3 hours...yes, 3 hours and most of it on the phone, Xfinity Gateway cannot open the ports for me to access Blue Iris. Does anyone have a solution to a router that will not allow port forwarding. I can do this easily on other providers like Cox and Century Link but this system only uses...

Cant change IP. What am I doing wrong? EmpireTech Security Camera Outdoor 4K Full-Color 2×4MP Dual-Lens 1/1.8"

Thanks everyone. The quick solution was to set the camera to DHCP then reset it. Find it on the network and then change the IP. I still cant figure out why I had to do that step before changing it.

Cant change IP. What am I doing wrong? EmpireTech Security Camera Outdoor 4K Full-Color 2×4MP Dual-Lens 1/1.8"

At my place Im at now its 10.0.0.1 Xfinity is the internet provider. I can find the camera...

Whats this called and how to fix? Dahua SD22404T-GN

Interesting. The first pic has that blur I see on the whole image with mine. Is there any fix or adjustment to it? I already tried the settings in the camera web interface and cant change it.

Whats this called and how to fix? Dahua SD22404T-GN

One more thing I just noticed that I've never seen as a big deal but now is a good time to ask. The time is off between the camera and BI. I check a box that syncs the time when Im in the web interface for the Dahua camera. It seems like a one time sync. Is there a selection that keeps the...

Whats this called and how to fix? Dahua SD22404T-GN

Attached a pic. Not sure if this is called blurred or halo or ? Its a general fuzzy picture day and night. Great camera and only a few months old. I just put it at this location recently but the camera seems to be 'fuzzy' regardless of outdoor lighting. The dome is clean too.

I give up. F--ng pissed. spent 5 plus hours on port forwarding

AAAAARRRRRRRGHHHHH yeah, that was it. Since I dont do computers and have to crash course everytime I reset something, I assumed that you have to open door #1 (port) before you could get to door #2 (computer) What about Teamviewer? better, worse or the same?
