The scenero got me all the way to downloading USSCWebComponents, closed MSIE (Windows-7), ran webcomponents and good completion. Start MSIE and I have logged in to my NVR but no image in the panel. Back to work now.

When I set Virtual Host check-box, I get window: "port", has 65001. Is that ok? Camera uses port 8000. The check-box has empty space above, labeled Multicast IP. What is the significance? So far, Ping, and SADP, and net scanner does not see the PoE port.

The solution was the password of the NVR! (sheepish grin). I tell the grand kids, never be afraid to try things. Life is trial and error, mostly error. That's how we learn.
