    Thanks for your input. I did some testing and i am able to access the gdmss app while logged into the openvpn instance. I checked the ip while connected to the vpn and without and both ips were the same. Which would mean that the vpn tunnel isnt working?

    Whats the best way to restrict access to the internet for my NVR. I have an Omada network and tried setting the switch ACLs to deny all NVR (on it's separate vlan) access to the primary LAN. Doing so made it so I wasn't able to access the cams as well (with a client on the primary LAN).

    I have it enabled but the audio seems to be only working on the phone app and not when viewing live or recording directly from the NVR.

    I recently installed a 3541 and have noticed that it isnt recording audio. I am using the same NVR5216-16P-4KS2E as my other 5442 cameras and those are recording audio fine. Is there a setting I need to update to get that working for my 3541?

    I tried doing this but viewing the playback using the "search" still only shows a green bar. Did you keep the red detection area completely red or did you highlight areas you wanted to show motion?

    I am having the same issue with my 5216... can this be fixed from the nvr gui itself or do I need to log into the ip of the NVR?

    what would be a good camera for a side door entrance to a garage that is right next to a side gate as well? I already have a camera pointed in that direction but it might not be close enough. There's also a bright light there that's always on at night.
