FBI Under Fire: Rep. Luna Confirms Burn Bags Contained Epstein Evidence — Now Under Investigation
Rep. Anna Paulina Luna has confirmed that “burn bags,” discovered in a secret FBI facility by Director Kash Patel, not only contained pages related to the Trump-Russia hoax, but also evidence tied to sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein.
The bombshell was broken by Fox News in a report that FBI Director Kash Patel uncovered multiple “burn bags” filled with sensitive and classified materials.
These bags were hidden inside a previously undisclosed SCIF (Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility) at FBI headquarters.
According to the report, the classified annex to John Durham’s final report may expose the CIA, DOJ, and FBI’s illegal efforts to frame President Donald Trump.
Rep. Luna told conservative podcaster Benny Johnson that the discovery of the burn bags has sparked a full-fledged investigation into the destruction of Epstein-related evidence.
“I’m asking them directly: who authorized this information to be placed in burn bags? And what information do they have about the former Deputy Director of the FBI destroying evidence pertaining to Jeffrey Epstein — which we know, right now, the FBI is actively investigating? So this is not a conspiracy theory,” Luna said.
“This happened. Actually, it was your show that tipped me off to follow up with one of those whistleblowers, and now that’s a full-fledged investigation.”
The trail began on Johnson’s show when whistleblower information was first aired, Luna said.
That tip led to a forensic review.
What investigators reportedly uncovered could blow the lid off a long-running Epstein cover-up—dating back to when Alberto Gonzales was Attorney General and Robert Mueller served as FBI Director.
Johnson pointed out that between 2005 and 2007, Epstein effectively received his infamous “get out of jail free card,” despite federal authorities having him “dead to rights.”
“So hold on—you’re confirming to us that the FBI has destroyed Epstein evidence?” Johnson asked.
“I’m confirming that there’s an open investigation, and that the leads on your show resulted in them finding burn bags pertaining to Russiagate—and potentially Epstein, yes,” Luna responded.
“Well, this is news to us, and we’re excited to hear that. A lot of these things happen, obviously, in a secured environment, but that makes us really happy on this program. So the entire burn bag saga began with our show? Well, that’s wonderful to hear,” Benny Johnson said.
“Correct. It had ties to it for sure. Look, right now, obviously, honestly, the American people are—rightfully so—really frustrated with how there’s been just this lapse of justice within our own government for people that are very elite, very wealthy, very powerful,” Rep. Luna said.
“I’m just really happy to know that under this administration, people are being held accountable. I will say this: there’s a lot that happens behind the scenes, but the fact is that they are arresting—they’re going after—these people.”
“Had Tulsi not come forward with that information in regards to Russiagate — I mean, think about it—literally people using their positions of power to violate constitutional rights, civil liberties, go after people, spy… It can’t be tolerated in a free, fair society. Thank you for doing what you’re doing to cover all this.”
